Be Healthcare Ready

Built for the people I love.

Be Healthcare Ready exists because behavioral health should work — and for too many people, for too long, it has not.

The Founder Story

Why this exists.

I built Be Healthcare Ready because the people I care about most depend on behavioral health working — and I had watched it fail them. Not in abstract ways, but in the specific, grinding ways that happen when systems do not talk to each other, when compliance is a binder on a shelf, when the people doing the work do not have the tools they need.

I spent close to a year building this alone. Not to have something to sell quickly — to have something that actually works. That means a real audit trail, real rule-based logic, real compliance requirements mapped to real workflows. It means the AI assistant cites its sources, defers to the clinician, and never pretends to be something it is not.

This is not a product I built to flip. It is the operating system I built to fix a broken system, piece by piece, until it works the way it should. Every check that passes, every gate that stays green, every audit trail that gets written is a step closer to that. That is what "Be Healthcare Ready" means.

How We Approach the Work

Four commitments we keep, always.

Verified

Nothing ships unless an automated gate passes. 228+ checks run on every commit. Status banners are live health polls — stop a service and the card goes red within seconds. We would rather show you proof than ask for trust.

Honest

Sophie is a recommendation engine — every output is a suggestion, not a determination. We label every feature live, coming, or gated. We do not use "guarantee", "proven", or "HIPAA certified". We do not fake status, fabricate testimonials, or claim capabilities we have not built and tested.

Auditable

Every action produces an audit event — who did what, when, and why — stored permanently in Postgres. The governance layer is built into the product, not bolted on. When a regulator asks, you have the answer without a three-week hunt.

Domain-Grounded

Real regulations, real rules, not generic AI guessing. Every compliance requirement is tied to a governing authority. SCN requirements are NY DOH requirements. RCM logic is behavioral-health-specific, not a generic claim scrubber pointed at a healthcare-adjacent dataset.

The Team & Operating Model

Governance as a feature.

BHR operates as a governed agent fleet. Each agent has a defined role, a gate to pass, and an audit trail. The compliance agent does not build; the builder does not ship without the gate passing. That is not process overhead — it is the product model. The same discipline we apply to building the software is the discipline we are selling to our customers.

When you buy BHR, you are not buying a promise about governance. You are buying a product that was built under governance, gate-green from day one, and that applies the same model to your organization's operations. Governance as a feature, not an afterthought.

Core Values

People. Patients. Performance.

"If we invest in our people, they will invest in our patients, and that will lead to great performance."

People

We start with the people doing the work. Give teams the tools, clarity, and support to do their jobs well, and everything downstream gets better.

Patients

Supported people take better care of patients. The point of the work is the person on the other side of it — better-equipped teams deliver better care.

Performance

Strong performance is the result, not the starting point. When people are invested in and patients are well cared for, durable results follow.

See it for yourself.

The fastest way to understand the approach is to use the product.
