Our commitment
Be Healthcare Ready is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We aim to align this site with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, which the U.S. Department of Justice references as a measure of web accessibility.
What we have done
- A "skip to content" link so keyboard users can bypass navigation.
- A declared page language and semantic landmarks (header, main, footer).
- Labelled form fields and visible focus styles for keyboard navigation.
- Color choices chosen to support readable text contrast.
- Responsive layout that reflows for small screens and zoom.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We test as the site evolves and work to fix issues we find. We have not completed a formal third-party audit, and we do not claim full conformance; we describe our status honestly and aim for WCAG 2.1 AA.
